I am a co-founder of Paint N Pour NYC. Our customers purchase tickets to a two-hour painting class that offers cocktails and small plates of food.

What challenge were you trying to address with MOBIKASA?
Most ticketing websites or software that customers use to buy tickets want to collect a fee from each ticket sale, so companies like ours don’t have a lot of flexibility or options to customize the experience. We engaged Mobikasa to develop a custom online ticketing and event management system.

The Approach

What was the scope of their involvement?
Mobikasa coordinated the design and development of a ticketing and reservation system that is hosted on our website. It allows us to list our events and collect payments—it essentially serves as the brains of our operation. As our engagement has continued, our platform has expanded to include more features. Mobikasa has further customized the system to meet our needs as we've grown.

Our primary team consists of Renuka (Project Manager, Mobikasa), Yash (Senior Software Engineer, Mobikasa), and Ankit (Head of Web Development, Mobikasa).

I can’t recall how I initially found them, but I remember being swayed by their experience working with clients of different sizes. They seemed to be well-suited for our company.

We’ve spent about $50,000 so far.

Our engagement began in March 2018 and remains ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their efforts have allowed us to be successful. Their creative solutions are very impressive. From start to finish, they’ve been amazingly supportive. Even when they complete phases of development and payments have been processed, they provide maintenance and guidance when we need it.
How did Mobikasa perform from a project management standpoint?
We utilize Trello to keep track of all of our moving parts. We cut down on endless email chains and lost messages, so we’re very organized, and everything is easy to understand.
